Shri Guru Ravidass Ji
Shri Guru Ravidass Ji is the founder of the Ravidassi faith by his followers. Satguru Ravidass has become a very popular Guru in the Ad dharmi/Ravidassia community. Bangaru Laxman (Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Scheduled Caste Morcha president) accused the slandering of Hinduism for treatment of backward castes as a “disrespect to [Dalit] saints like Satguru Ravidas, Satyakam Jabali, Sadhna Kasai, Banka Mahar, Dhanna Chamar and others who protected Hindus against foreign onslaughts.”[3]
His hymns are recorded in the Guru Granth Sahib, a quotation being: “My caste is low, my lineage is low, and mean is my birth. I have sought God’s refuge, says Ravidas the cobbler.”[4]
Shri Guru Ravidass Ji was also the guru of the Vaishnava Sant Mira Bai.

My few desire to know about: –
i) When Sh Guru Ravidass ji arrive in Himanchal & where & how he spent his time here.
ii) Right pronounciation of Guru ravi dass ji Vaani & Shloka.
iii) No arrgument and any criticism regarding Ravi dass ji maharaj specailly request with the (Singer, Poets, Writer, Painters,jounarlist or dramatter).
I m requested to all the human beings not criticise any religion but we must take good views from these religion.

ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਰਵਦਾਸੀਏ ਕਹੁਣਾ ਬੰਦ ਕਰੋ ਐਸਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦਾ ਅਪਮਾਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਅਸੀਂ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਰਧਾਲੂ ਹਾਂ ਅਰਥਾਤ ਅਸੀਂ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਦੇ ਵੰਸ਼ ਹਾਂ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕੇਵਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਵੰਸ਼ ਕਹਿਣਾ ਹੀ ਉੱਤਮ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ। ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਉਚਾਰਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਵਾਣੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੀਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੰਡਤ ਕਸ਼ੋਰੀ ਪਾਸੋਂ ਹਿਦੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਖਵਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਉਹ ਮਹਿਵਾੜ ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਘਰਾਣੇ ਪਾਸ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ 560 ਪੰਨੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਆਕਾਰ ਕੋਈ ਇਕ ਗਿਠ ਚੋੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਘ ਭਘ ਡੇੜ ਗਿਠ ਲੰਮਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਘਭਘ ਚਪਾ ਕੁ ਮੋੱਟਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਉਹੀ ਗਰੰਥ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਕੁਝ ਗਾਉਣ ਵਾਲਿਆ ਨੇ ਗਾ ਗਾ ਕੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਇਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਪੁਜੀਰੀ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਨਮੇ ਅਖਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਖ ਕੇ ਰਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਜ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਖਰ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਰੀਹਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਵੀਰ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ। ਜਾਦ ਰਹੇ ਜੋ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਾਣੀ ਲਿਖੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਕਈ ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੇਰ ਫੇਰ ਭੀ ਪੜਨ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਚਮਾਰਾ ਜਾਂ ਕਹੇ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਆਦਿ। ਜਦੋਂਕਿ ਵਾਣੀ ਰਵੀਦਾਸ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਉੱਚਾਰਣ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ।

Ps I am a Ravidassia and feel that our community does very liltte to get on with each other, India win celebrations would have been a great way to bring Indians together on this. It is about time we stopped all this nonsense about I am better than you\’ attitude, this win and celebrations were for our kids to understand who we are how powerful India will be in less than 50 years. Our flag is who we are so let us stand together everyone else does why don\’t the Asian communities?
